Skinpotions "Sugar Flush" Cheek and Lip Tints | Swatches + Review

Who doesn't have a roller tint? Is there even a girl who never have tried one? There may be, but only a few for sure. Well in general, tints already become a staple item on every girl's makeup kit, and even a great product if you're planning to start a local makeup business too! (organic cheek and lip tints are all over the internet---selling like hotcakes!).


In this blog post, I will be sharing my thoughts about the much coveted local cheek and lip tint in town, at the moment! Aside from the usual arm swatches, I have also tried them (yes, all of them!) on my lips. 

Okay let's do it!

I received the complete set of Sugar Flush cheek and lip tints from Skinpotions for free, that's the five (5) initial shades, plus the three (3) new shades. You can avail them individually or as a set (inside a cute case, as seen above).




Without the label, they are just like ordinary roller tints which are sold by other local brands (like Ever Bilena, Diva White and those on Instagram). But with  the label, they all look so "extra". Would love to commend SP for leveling up with their packaging! 

And guess what, their shade range is also another department wherein they stand out. Nice hues that doesn't look like the basic red or pink. I tried swatching each on my arm and here's the result:

 


Now let's try them on my lips! I applied each using 2-3 strokes so you would see the color visibly. I also moisturized my lips a few minutes before swatching and pat it off with tissue to remove excess balm.

 VERDICT:

So here are my thoughts after trying all the 8 shades of Sugar Flush Tints:

• Very pigmented and has an excellent staying-power 
• You can create a subtle gradient look or full lip color easily
• Smells really nice; very fruit and candy-like
• Blends easily and beautifully on the cheeks, but will do create dot marks if not spread out immediately once applied
• Stains on the teeth and tongue, which bothers me a bit, though there's no bitter taste at all
• Not drying on the lips, yet will leave small patches on the inner part of the upper and lower lip after an entire day of no touch-ups

Overall, these tints are a good snatch for only PHP120 each. Given the quality, they are by far one of the best roller tints in the market. You can purchase them at Skinpotions kiosks, BeautyMNL, and other shopping websites. However, it will be better if you visit them at Trendsetters Bazaar, because the price can drop up to PHP89!
