IT'S BEEN A WHILE since I last posted my skincare routine :) Now after some trial and error, I'm currently enjoying a new and updated skincare routine!
Just like what I've said before: Following an excellent skin care routine is very vital in keeping your youthful glow and preventing early signs of aging. It will also save you from those stressful skin dilemmas that may affect your self-confidence in the long run.
So I think we should get started! SMILE and be PRETTY ^_^

After completely removing my make up, I will first wash my face with a facial foam cleanser.
FACIAL CLEANSER (Etude House Green Tea cleansing foam)
NUMBER FIVE :) They also have 11 other variants which will cater to your personal needs. |
Before, I'm using the Happy Tea Time green tea cleansing foam from Etude House. Unfortunately, the product was already permanently removed and replaced by the Every Month cleansing foam line. And because I'm a certified green tea lover, I'm extremely happy that they still have the green tea variant!
Cleansing is very important because it removes the dirt on your face brought by pollution and/or use of heavy makeup. Make sure to gently massage your face while cleansing and avoid rubbing your face too hard. You can sing while doing this, just to kill time! :)
Next step will be the scrubbing!
FACIAL SCRUB (St. Ives Apricot Scrub)
MY ALL-TIME FAVE :) The best facial scrub for me! |
After washing my face, I would grab my favorite facial scrub and work gently all-over my face. I love the extra-clean feeling that it gives me immediately after a minute of scrubbing. But oh wait! remember that scrubbing your face can't be done on a daily basis, maybe every after two days or just three to four times a week.
Scrubbing removes dead skin cells and stubborn dirt on the surface of your skin. This will make your skin glow and appear clearer. It can lessen the pimples, whiteheads and blackheads, especially if it contains salicylic acid. Always look for facial scrubs with natural ingredients :)
Dry your face with a facial sponge or clean towel...
FACIAL TONER (Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner)
MY WONDER TONER! No sting. No strong smell. Excellent in minimizing the appearance of pores and conditions the skin well. |
Pat your skin dry and apply a mild toner. I changed my toner after receiving a trial kit from etude house. Before I was using their AC Clinic toner, but I don't think it kinda help me during my super stressful days, that's why I switched to this product---the ultra pore solution, Wonder Pore!
Toning improves skin condition and help unclog pores. This step is very vital because it'll help in locking the moisture, making your face appear healthier. Make sure to be very picky in choosing a toner, because based on my experience, if the toner is not your skin's match, it may worsen your skin problems.
All freshen-up! The last step is:
FACIAL MOISTURIZER (Aloe Moistfull Gel / MSC Ampoule Essence / MSC Cream)
PERFECT FOR OILY SKIN :) I use this overall face & body moisturizer twice a day and it gave me excellent results! |
POWERED WITH COLLAGEN :) I use this before putting on makeup, giving me that dewy glow ^_^ |
FOR DELICATE PARTS :) well instead of using an eye cream, I prefer to use this one *wink* |
This is my favorite part! Before, I'm just applying a simple moisturizer because I thought that'll be enough. However, since I have an oily skin, I always feel that I'm not doing enough or that my moisturizer just adds up on my problem. Until I tried these products, I was like YEY! finally, no more super shiny face and yes to dewy/supple/soft-yet-firm skin! :)
Moisturizers basically hydrates your skin, like drinking water ^_^ It improves skin's elasticity, making it appear youthful. This is an important step in your skin care routine, especially if you want to look younger than your age.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed reading :) You may also try the products that I've mentioned above and maybe they can become your best friends too! Don't forget to share your insights with us as well! ^_^
Until next time! Stay pretty lovelies!!!
