Hands up with Caronia Hand Sanitizer! | Caronia Body

For a cleanliness-obsessed germophobe (are you?), a bottle of hand sanitizer is an absolute essential to survive in the urban. Since clean water and soap may not be available at all times, one to two squirt of hand sanitizer will make one feel instantly clean  *wink*

And I bet you'll get pretty much hooked with your dependable sanitizer if it will not only make you feel clean, but smell good too!

Caronia is known to be the first brand to produce local nail polishes that are comparable with then imported brands. Over the years, the brand expanded from nail polish, to hand and foot care products, and now opening a new line which is the Caronia Body

The Caronia Hand Sanitizers extend the brand's commitment in nail and hand care, by providing protection against germs, and at the same time moisturizing the skin. I get to try the four variants: Watermelon, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Green Tea. All of them are available in 50ml spray bottles, for only PHP 33 at BeautyMNL

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Water, Glycerin, Fragrance, Triclosan, Triethanolamine

To be honest, I like these perfumed sanitizers since they all smell really good, and you can easily go from one scent to another depending on your mood. It's like spraying fragrance on your hands, while disinfecting them at the same time! Now who else would want to go back to their basic alcohol sanitizers? -Oh not me!

If you want to view the complete list and details of Caronia products, just simply visit their website by clicking here. Now as for my top picks, hmmm...I think I'll go for Green Tea and Eucalyptus hand sanitizers, because they make my hands feel so clean and refreshed instantly! Let me know your faves too; comment your thoughts or questions below! So until my next post---Thanks for dropping by :)

Let's be wise and SANITIZE!

Dream Cream’s newest shades + review and swatches | Skinpotions

And the (not so long) wait is over! Skinpotions finally released the newest additions to their most sought-after multi-way tints, the Dream Cream; and everyone is obviously ecstatic!

I have already featured the initial shades here on the blog. You can check out this post for the detailed review: Dream Cream. This one is gonna be quick, since I'll be only showing you the new shades and a few ‘tea’ about them :) Who’s excited!

There are four new shades, namely Soleil, George, Louisse and Haven. And just like what I've wished for during the launch of the initial six shades, Skinpotions finally came up with the shades of Red! Yahooo! Now I think the collection is somewhat complete, because the basics are already present. Also, I like that they have included a taupe (which can be used for light contouring), a merlot (or red brown), plus a cool and warm tone of red.

There was no significant changes in the packaging, texture, scent and overall performance of these tints---only a better shade range (more colors to play with!).  And still, a small dot goes a long way.

Now here are my lip and cheek swatches (in the same order as with the swatches above)

Now which shade do you think is more flattering? :) Share your thoughts below, would love to hear them! And Oh, these tints still retail at PHP 249, and are already available at their kiosks (inside select malls), website, and other online beauty stores.

I am giving away two Dream Cream to a lucky commenter on Instagram! So make sure to FOLLOW me (@missgblogs) and check my “giveaway post”. Lastly, leave a COMMENT below for more chances of winning! Yay! Now is your chance to try and own two lovely shades :) Good Luck!

Dream on, with these tints on!

The Ultimate Thai Skincare Combo: Jellys’ Pure Face Power Up Serum and Bluefin Tuna

I was really surprised when I checked my first post featuring Jellys Thailand products, because it raked a lot of reads in less than a month! (click here if you haven't seen it). Guess a lot of you are now getting more interested with Thai beauty, especially now that they are slowly taking the mainstream.

For this post, I will be sharing with you another great discovery! I have tried two new products from Jellys for more than a week, and let me tell you this: I was SHOOKT! I received the products for free, though this post is definitely not sponsored. I'll just link the shop where you can get them at the end of this review :)

THE PRODUCTS

Pure Face Power Up Serum 10 in 1

It comes in a glass bottle with dropper, and has a net volume of 10 ml. The serum itself is clear, gel-like, has no scent and not oily. When applied, the liquid does not instantly seep into the skin, so you need to rub or massage it gently to facilitate absorption. After application, I immediately noticed that my face look so hydrated and radiant.

According to the box, it's paraffin-free, silicon-free and alcohol-free. It also contains allantoin, glycerin, alpha arbutin, and a lot of plant extracts.

Pure Face Bluefin Tuna Cream

The cream is packed inside a plastic-foil sachet with a spout or cap. The net weight is not indicated on the packaging or box, but I think it's more or less 20 ml. The cream is translucent white, smells like berries, has a light consistency and not oily. Easily absorbed by the skin, all I did was spread it out a bit and dab on my face. After application, I noticed that my pores were somehow blurred out and my skin was extra dewy.

The active ingredient is the collagen from Bluefin tuna; plus glycerin, beeswax, allontoin, sodium hyaluronate and a couple of plant extracts.

THE RESULT

After using the products exclusively for more than a week (I stopped since I emptied the serum already hehe), I must say that these two impressed me big time! I've been so busy these past few days, that I could not afford an elaborate skincare routine for the meantime. And yes, this skincare combo saved me!

Digging deeper, the serum is a good one because it brightened up my skin tone. Usually after washing, my face would look bright, but after a while, it will start to look dull. But with this serum, I can achieve a brighter complexion even with no makeup on. The cream on the other hand is an instant fave! I love putting it on because the scent is so refreshing. Aside from that, it can magically shrink my pores and leave a nice dewy effect on my skin.

THE VERDICT

I will totally recommend these products because I did see real results after using them! But as for the other claims, such as reducing acne and blemishes, I cannot really tell right now. Though I somehow noticed that my tiny "zit scars" are now getting a little bit lighter.

Now economically speaking, I think the Bluefin Tuna cream is worth your money (PHP 180) because a small amount of it goes a long way; while the serum is kinda pricey (PHP 350) since it's only 10 ml (mine lasts for less than 2 weeks only). Still, if you want to give it a shot, remember that these products work best together.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed this post! I would like to thank Ms. Michelle Wood for sending these products to me. You can purchase a lot of awesome Thailand beauty items from her online shop: Pink Candie Shoppe

Where to get affordable and ready-to-wear "suit and gown" for your next event

Going to formal events or social gatherings can be absolutely nerve-wracking, and at the same time expensive! Most of us would opt to buy new clothes, especially if the event has a motif or theme (unless you have a dream wardrobe that could cater any occasion). And though you're on a tight budget, you'll still be forced to shed some good cash just for a decent outfit. Of course, you would also love to look good on pictures too!

Even if you're not a fashion person, or someone who would always dress for the 'gram'; walking into a party wearing something nice will surely boost your confidence. And let me tell you this: You don't have to kill your wallet just to dress smart or look glamorous,

All you have to do is...RENT

You read it right loves! And I'm pretty sure that renting clothes is already common to us, especially the gowns (will talk more about that later). But hey, did you know that you can also rent suits? Yes, female corporate suits!

And that's what I discovered at Suit for Rent.

Actually, I have never, ever, tried wearing a "suit" in an event, or anywhere else. Though I totally admire how some celebrities and fashion personalities manage to pull it out, I never thought that the jacket-trousers combo would (somehow) look pleasing on me.

I had a try-on shoot at their boutique in Quezon City. The funny thing is that I forgot to bring an inner (blouse or tube) and a pair of heels! So I had to deal with it *face palm* and the fact that I only have my undergarments! (Thank God I wore something appropriate, and not the pink or flowery ones I have in my cabinet, whew!). The sad part was that we cannot take full body photos of me, since I was only wearing sandals. But with all the complications, I had so much fun during the shoot---and I super LOVE the suits!

There are a lot of designs, colors, and types of suits to choose from. You can easily go from plain to funky, and classy to modern style suits. I do love the quality of the fabrics used for each terno, as well as the cut and stitches. My fave was the cream-colored suit, which gave me the Heart Evangelista feels!

Overall, I am very impressed on how this manly ensemble transformed me into a femme fatale -slash- chic girl boss real quick!

Oh wait, there's also Gown for Rent!

If you really can't pull off a suit, or just in dire need of a lovely gown, here's where to go ladies!

I chose a blue ball gown; just a simple yet elegant-looking one. I totally love it! Didn't expect it to be perfect, since it has been rented for a couple of times already, but still, it managed to keep its appeal.

It is no longer new to us that gowns can be rented. But what's amazing at GFR is that they have gowns for ALL occasions, like wedding, debut, etc. You can choose by color, and then PICK your match! (depending on your budget and style preference). The gowns were beautifully made yet reasonably priced (actually considering some gowns for my prenup shoot!).

Here are more photos! (hair's not ready, and I'm barefooted...but nothing can stop me from strutting in a lovely gown!)

YES! No purchasing needed, just rent and wear! Very practical indeed :) Of course, I cannot end this without a treat for everyone! You can now rent a suit or gown for less just by using my discount code: GFRMG0921---that's 20% off! I will also give away discount coupons / vouchers for lucky readers and Instagram followers, so please stay tuned!

Thank you for dropping by, see you on my next post! Don't forget to FOLLOW me on Instagram (@missgblogs) and LIKE my Facebook page (Miss Gs Diaries) and let's be friends! *hugs*

Don't let anyone rent a space in your head, unless they're a good tenant...okay? :)

Block and White "Sakura Park" Launch

The first-ever Sakuha Park was officially launched last October 16, 2018 at Market! Market! Shopping Mall in Taguig. It was made possible by Block and White, in line with the release of its newest variant, the Sakura White lotion. Though the park was only available to the general public for two days (October 16-17), everyone still enjoyed taking photos under the Sakura trees.

At 12 noon, the crowd already gathered near the entrance of the park waiting for the symbolic ribbon cutting. There was a loud cheer when celebrity endorser and YouTube vlogger, Alex Gonzaga appeared from the back, then the Block and White Sakura White TVC song played! (and we danced)

Aside from Alex, YouTuber Pham Swing also graced the event, along with other bloggers and influencers. It was my first time to meet her, and we even managed to take a selfie! (posted it on my Instagram stories)

The park is all pink and "girly" as expected. Good thing I wore light and comfy clothes, since it was located in an open space. Our skins' tolerance to the sun's heat were really put into a test! Thank God Block and White Sakura White lotion already has sunscreen to compliment its whitening properties (whew!)

Aside from the Sakura trees, there were also three (3) photo stations from where you can take some quirky shots. Visitors were encouraged to take and post both their "expectation and reality" photos on Instagram and Facebook. Well I had a hard time with the first station, which is the "Flatlay", but my friend Danica slayed it with no sweat!

STATION 1

STATION 2

STATION 3

I obviously enjoyed the second and third stations (haha!). These photos are the proofs!

And yes, I totally enjoyed my Sakuha Park experience! It was a hot, yet fun day indeed! Thanks to Block and White, and Sir Angelo for inviting me.

And of course, I was so happy to finally meet and greet Alex Gonzaga! She's such a fine soul; full of positivity and good vibes! She even inspired me more to launch my own YouTube channel, yay! (very soon guys, VERY SOON). But hey, do you think we could pass as 'sisters'? :)

Yasss! Hope you enjoyed this post, especially the pictures! Guess it will be awesome if there shall be a real Sakura Park in the Philippines...a long shot, but nothing is impossible, right? I would love to hear your thoughts, so please comment down below :) Oh, have you tried any Block and White lotion? Are you a fan of it? Let's talk about the Sakura White lotion soon!
